This blanket is knitted flat in garter stitch from one side of the blanket to the other. The hood and the face elements are then knitted separately. The hood is whip-stitched to the blanket, and the edges are reinforced with an applied i-cord edging. Be sure to leave a long tail when casting off, as this can be used to whip-stitch the different pieces in place.
