This is part 1 of my Owl family pattern^^
This one is for the little owl chicks, next one is going to be a bigger owl mom

Includes:

A pdf pattern with written instructions and pictures
The pattern is written in english and uses US terminology

Skill level:
- beginner to slightly intermediate - (I listed all the skills required below, so if you’re a begginner and you’re willing to look up video tutorials of the stitches that you don’t know yet, I think you can totally do it^^

Skills required:

• magic ring - mgr
• chain - ch
• slip stitch - sl st
• single crochet - sc
• double crochet - dc
• half double crochet - hdc
• double crochet - dc and dcinc (same as an increase just with double crochet)
• increase - inc and inc3 (3 stitches in one sc instead of the normal 2)
• decrease - dec and dec3 (decreasing 3 stitches together instead of the normal 2)
• color switching
• working in back and front loops only

Size:
I used a 2.75mm sized hook and a thin(3ply) yarn, so my little owl turned out 4cm tall and 3cm wide, but you can use any hook size and a yarn that fits it, your plushie will just end up as a different size. The wideness also depends on your tension.

Tools and materials needed:

• A crochet hook in any size (just make sure to use yarn that works with it)
• A tapestry needle, or any needle big enough to sew yarn with
• Yarn in the colors: orange, white, pink (or any color you choose, but the pattern will use these colors to indicate colorswitches)
• Safety eyes
• stuffing
