These are made in 2 parts and then sewn together. They work up fast and since they are done in worsted weight yarn they are very warm. Perfect for the icy weather and snow we’ve all been dealing with. I made mine with a J hook but I crochet very tight. If you crochet loose or are using a softer yarn (such as Caron Simply Soft) I would go down to an I hook. I will indicate where you are working in rounds and where you are working side to side. Also, I started the top with a FHDC because you CAN chain and then HDC but you don’t get the gentle stretch that you do from the FHDC.
