This sweater is worked from the bottom up. After the ribbing, markers are placed and 6 - 14 stranded owls are worked depending on the size. There are 18 owl/tree charts to choose from and can be arranged in any way desired. After the owls, a repeating pattern is worked. This can be done with 2 or 3 colours. Then the main body is worked up to the under arms. Next, the sleeves are worked one at a time and then joined to the body where a raglan sleeve decrease is done up to the neck. In the last 10 rows for all sizes, the neck is worked flat before stitches are picked up and knit across the neckline so the neck ribbing can be finished. Underarms are stitched closed as the last thing before being finished.

Any worsted weight wool yarn will be great (200 m / 219 yds) / 100 g,
