Owls of Life-Fall is pattern 3 in the series. This series uses a combination of lace and easy to knit but elegant owl cables to represent the stages of life….through the seasons of the year.

Fall is the time of transition and change. The leaves change to brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows-and eventually fall from the trees. The air becomes crisp as the weather cools. Fall is also the time of the harvest for most of our food, the time to preserve that late summer and final harvest produce and prepare for the long winter ahead.

In Owls of life-Fall, the owls are offset with a large leaf lace panel to the other side.

What you Need
• 1 100g skein Arkansas Yarn Co Sparkle
• US 1 2.25mm needles for sock knitting
• Cable needle
• Stitch markers

Because of all of the cables, the fit of theses socks runs somewhat narrow. If in doubt go up 1 needle size for the leg, up one size, or add a small gusset to allow room for the ankle.
In the sample, an 8 pair of increases and decreases gusset is added on a size Medium.
