This is a very basic square pattern that I wrote to be used for a blanket square drive to benefit Oxfam. The square is a stockinette design with a 3 stitch garter border. It usually uses approximately 30 grams of yarn for one square.

The yarn used is not critical, and gauge can be adjusted as necessary. The concept is just to encourage people to knit 8 inch squares, which will then be sewn into blankets. I am happy for this pattern to be used for charitable purposes.
