These envelope style cases are knitted in a very simple slip stitch pattern to give a thick, protective fabric. Instructions are given for two sizes, to fit an iPad or Kindle, with tips on adapting the pattern for other sized devices.

The pattern’s name comes from the wool I used. Oxford wool comes from sheep on Oxford University’s farm and is available in a natural colour and in Oxford Blue. Any thick double knitting weight yarn (approximately 110m/50g) could be used.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff

Happy Knitting!
