Oxford Skirt
A versatile and timeless skirt suitable for year-round wear—on its own in summer or layered over trousers and leggings in the colder months. The skirt is worked from the top down with a negative ease of approx. 1–5 cm ½–2 inches. The work begins with a double-knit waistband, into which a thin elastic cord may optionally be threaded to ensure a good fit. The skirt is then worked in stockinette stitch with short rows and evenly spaced increases to shape the silhouette. The piece is finished with a simple yet distinctive eyelet pattern. The length can easily be adjusted as desired. The design is classic and versatile, suitable for both everyday wear and more formal occasions.
