Oxford Socks are toe up, lace socks, with a short row heel. They were originally created for my daughter. She appreciates hand knit socks, especially lace patterned, hand knit socks. When I learned she’d been accepted to study abroad at Oxford, I knew what needed to be done. ;)

This lace pattern mimics the gothic arches seen in many buildings on campus. I used Cascade’s Heritage Silk using the magic loop method, however, they can easily be knit with two circular needles or dpn’s.

Suggestions included for adjusting sock width.
