These fingerless mitts are inspired by the rippled textured and soft shades of the oyster shell.

The pattern contains charts. The mitts are worked in the round using double pointed needles and the stranded knitting technique combined with purl stitches.

Circumference hand ± 20 cm, length ± 19 cm after blocking. You can choose slightly smaller or larger needles to make the mitts a little bit smaller or larger.

Pink version
Yarn A: Seapink Heath
Yarn B: Campion
Yarn C: Selfheal Heath

Blue version
Yarn A: Aetmeal
Yarn B: Speedwell
Yarn C: Speedwell Heath

Required amounts of yarn:
± 30 g of Yarn A (one 50 g ball)
± 10 g of Yarn B (one 25 g ball)
± 5 g of Yarn C (one 25 g ball)

De ribbelstructuur en zachte kleuren van oesterschelpen waren de inspiratie voor het patroon van deze mitaines.

Het patroon bevat teltekeningen. De mitaines worden op sokkennaaldjes in het rond gebreid met de ‘stranded knitting’ techniek (2 kleuren per toer) gecombineerd met averechte steken.

Omtrek hand ± 20 cm – totale hoogte ± 19 cm na het blocken. Indien gewenst kunnen iets dunnere of dikkere naalden worden gebruikt om de mitaines wat kleiner of groter te maken.
