Starting with a single ribbed rectangle of 2x2 rib, stitches are picked up at 90 degree rotation following the schematic, building the mitten in the round from top down, finishing with two triangles to complete the cuff edges. Stitches are then picked up and cuffs made in 1x1 rib.

Original was knit with a strand of Swedish yarn, plus a fine Mohair yarn.
