Design:
The sweater has a cute penguin motif and raglan seams. The front, back and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom-up and the raglan seams sewn together. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline. A chart is provided to complete the motif.

Sizes:
3 sizes included to fit child: 1-2, 2-3 and 4-5 years old.

Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
Jumper shown in main picture is for size 2-3 years and knitted using:
Sirdar Snuggly DK in shade: Pastel Blue (321) and White (251) and Stylecraft Special DK shades: Spice (1711) and Black (1002).

Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions provided, but experience needed to work from a chart for the motif.

Tension:
22 sts and 28 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.

Other requirements:
Stitch holders
Lockable stitch marker or safety pin
