“Paa tvaers tee” is a different kind of tee. Knitted as it is from side to side. With a nicely moderated boat neck, split rib, and a sleeve shaped with short rows.

It is intended to be oversized (approx. 20–30 cm of positive ease compared to the actual body size), and it comes in 4 sizes: 110, 120, 130 and 140 in finished bust measurement.

You will need between 4–5 skeins, and it can be knitted in a single strand in a yarn such as Mondial Lieve, Permin Bella or with multiple strands held together such as Drops Kid Silk. If You want to use the possibility to make the small suggested intarsia, You need a CC1 and a CC2 (2 skeins more)

It is not recommended to replace the yarn with alternatives that are heavy, such as alpaca. It will pull the model out of shape.

The techniques required are simple – k, p, k2tog, and being able to pick up stitches. For a beginner, the only possible challenge might be that chain stitch lines are crocheted around the armholes and around the neckline, partly to stabilize the tee and partly for aesthetics.
