This is a fun little project that uses up scraps of yarn and lets you play with colour at the same time.

The ball is made up of 24 identical paddles, knitted in garter stitch with DK weight yarn. Each paddle uses about 3.6 m / 4 yd of yarn, you will need about 50 g in all.

The finished ball is about 9 cm in diameter and 5 cm tall - more of a doughnut shape than a sphere.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease.
