Padnos is the name of the scrap dealer/recycler in my parents’ home town. The owner makes sculpture out of scrap metal. This cupholder can be knit with whatever worsted scraps you have handy, in two hours or less.

This pattern is free to knit and sell for charity or to knit for your own personal use. If you knit one for yourself, please consider giving a dollar to someone who’d appreciate it--barista or busker or grandchild, whoever’s handy!
