Creating pieces that show off beautiful yarn is one of my favorite ways to design, and thats what I set out to do in this shawl. The simple textures and dimensional stripes are the perfect canvas to highlight simple tonals and textured yarns in the body and special handspuns and variegated yarns in the contrast stripes. The size is generous and suitable to style wrapped or over the shoulders.

I took inspiration from my other favorite pass time, reading and collecting books. Like a good book, this shawl has an easy flow, but some twists and turns to keep things interesting.
