About the Paint Creek Shawl

This shawl was inspired by the Paint Creek Trail in Michigan. It’s a beautiful place for biking and hiking, and seeing all of natures amazing colors.

Pattern Highlights

• Pattern written in US terms.
• Advanced Beginner
• Size 52” X 40” on the increase side (blocked)
• 4.5mm/ G+ hook
• Approx: 640 yards of dk weight yarn, can be any dk that meets gauge.
• I used 3 colors of Kenyarn Dk , 231 yards per skein
• Yarn substitutes by testers: Loops & Threads Joy DK, Joann’s Knit and Crochet smooth, Stylecraft special dk, Malabrigo Rastita, House of a la mode, Sewrella Yarn, etc.
