Is it a Poncho? A Shawl? A Cowl? Or all three in one easy to wear garment? You choose. I just call it comfy and cuddly.

The fabric for this fun wrap is a modern take on a vintage jacquard slip-stitch twill pattern combined with stockinette blocks. Holding two strands of sport weight yarn together throughout creates a softly marled look that seamlessly melds the yarns from color to color with no sharp demarcation lines. The resulting fabric has the drape and feel of a worsted weight garment.

Sample Yarn: Milo by Manos Del Uruguay (35% linen, 65% merino wool; 380 yds/ 350 m): 4 (5, 5, 6) skeins of i9111 Sarah Kay (MC), 1 (2, 2, 2) skein(s) of i2035 Jade (CC1), 1 (2, 2, 2) skein(s) of i2141 Jaipur (CC2). The L/XL and 2X sizes won’t use all of 4 skeins of contrast color and if you are flexible with the color blending you should be able to get away with 3 contrast skeins total.
