The shawl is knitted top down, starting with a garter tab. The body of the shawl is worked in stocking stitch and finished with a lace border. It is knitted flat, but we recommend a circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches. On completion, the shawl is blocked heavily to open up the lace and enhance the shawl’s points.
