1. Crochet hooks: 4.5 mm (US 7) and 4.0 mm (US G/6); 3.5 mm (US E/4) optional for edging.

5. Tapestry needle.

Gauge (main pattern): 18 sts x 8 rows to measure 10x10 cm (4x4in) over pattern using 4.0 mm hook, or size needed to obtain correct tension (after blocking).
