Miss E. Tucker, Spring Street, Queenstown, was awarded the first prize of £2 2/- for a jumper worked in wave stitch with a yoke design of black and white flowers, and a plaited belt of black and white.
MATERIALS: 3 oz. pale blue 2-ply wool, ½ oz. each of black and white 2-ply wool, 1 pair No. 8 and 1 pair No. 13 needles, 1 yard corded ribbon, and a buckle for the belt.
MEASUREMENTS: Length from shoulder, 22½ in.; width all round under the arms, 33 in.; length of sleeve seam. 3½ in.
