Classic cropped, chunky “grandfather cardigan” can be made with plenty of
positive ease if desired.
The cardigan is worked flat, top down. The sleeves are worked in the round. This means that the cardigan can easily be made longer and adjusted as desired.
This design is worked in one piece without any assembly needed and is suitable for both beginners with a little practice and experienced knitters.

When washed and blocked, the cardigan will be about 5% larger.

50 grams = 110 meters, shown in color 2311

Alternative for Poppy = Sandnes Kos , Viking garn alpakka bris, camarose snefnug
alternative for Setasuri = Sandnes Tynn silk mohair or equivalent yarn with
the same knitting gauge.

Gauge::
12 sts stockinette stitch with one thread of each quality, 18 rows = 10x10 cm
18 sts rib on needle 5.5 mm = 10 cm

Needles: circular needle 7 mm 80 and 40 cm as well as long circular needle (at least 80 cm) and
double pointed needles 5.5 for rib along the buttonholes and on the sleeves.
Or needles that maintain the knitting gauge. .
