It all started with a chart and a swatch. When I design colorowork, I often keep in mind beginner knitters learning to carry two strands at a time, and creating memorizable and readable repeats. This chart was created no differently, with floats short enough they don’t need to be caught. When I reached out to Sarah of The Dye Project, I was elated that she would be providing yarn support. This special collaboration was knit up on a special trip - the sample worked by the pool in Palm Springs, swinging in a hammock and enjoying the sunshine. Named as a reminder of the vacation dreams are made of, Palm Springs is a relaxing colorwork pattern with visually striking results.

The pattern looks great with a Light MC and a dark CC (as in the sample) or vice verse. For your convenience, two versions of the chart are provided - use the version that closely matches your chosen colors, but keep in mind that the same chart is used throughout the pattern.
