The Panax Shawl is a generously sized asymmetrical triangle consisting of a garter section and a stockinette section separated by a decorative lace panel. The edges are worked in faggot stitch, giving them a gossamer lacy appearance.

The shawl starts at one corner with the lace panel and initially increases evenly on both the garter and the stockinette side. Once the maximum depth is achieved, increases and decreases are shifted so that the lace panel is running across and ends in the center of the opposite side of the triangle. The shawl is bound off in faggot stitch, thus completing the lacy edge.

Dimensions: 75 cm (29.5˝) maximum depth, 225 cm (88.5˝) wingspan length.
