I’ve brought life and meaning to the traditional granny square with the soothing colours of the pansy and the soft yarn texture of Texas. The design is incredibly repetitive and easy to make so that you can immerse yourself in colours and textures and let your mind wander to your sweet dreams.

When the pansies start showing their pretty little faces it is always a welcome sight. It’s a sign that the cold winter is transforming into spring and bringing with it a spectacular transformation of colour and life.

At this time of year, I always feel that the pansies are whispering to me that there are better times ahead. That it is time to embrace unknown possibilities and dream sweet dreams.

In this block the dark centre of the pansy is framed by slightly lighter petals, and it all sits in a soothing bed of naturally coloured yarn.

I’ve designed this pattern so that it’s incredibly repetitive and easy for you to crochet. You can immerse yourself in the soothing colours and soft yarn textures and dream of the future, of your sweet dreams.
