Have an over-air conditioned office? Or, have the evenings gotten just a bit too chilly for you? Papillon is the perfect garment for you. It looks fabulous, is practically effortless to wear–and feels like a big warm hug.

The shape of the Papillon shrug is quite basic. It’s a rectangle that has stitches picked up around each long side. Those stitches are joined to work in the round in ribbing. The true effect of the shrug comes from the yarn selection (a long striping colorway is ideal) and the use of short rows to create the effect of butterfly wings. It comes in 3 sizes for petite, average and tall women.
