This is a Blended Intarsia Project. Although there are notes on the technique in the notes section; people new to the technique should request a free photo and text tutorial in pdf form from the designer. To request, send a pm to suebell on Rav or send an email to the address listed in the pattern.

This is a loose buttonless cardigan or jacket. The sizing is quite liberal, and information is given in the pattern addressing fit and sizing. The bust measurement size is not the most useful in determining the correct size to knit (detailed directions are provided inthe pattern notes) but for reference, Par Avion will fit wearer bust sizes of 28-57 inches in the 4 sizes given.

Please note: The yardage given is for the main body color(MC). 4 additional colors(CC) are used in the Blended Intarsia motif. Less than 1/2 of each of those skeins will be needed. This pattern would be a good way to use partial skein leftovers (as contrast colors) from other projects

Aside from the usual notions; bobbins are listed in the Materials. Although yarn butterflies will work they often prove more trouble than a well designed bobbin. Not all bobbins are equal; I recommend Bryson Distributing EZ bobs size small (packs of 10). The pattern will require quite a few bobbins at once (for the bottom borders) I recommend 16,19,23,27 bobbins for the most bobbin intensive piece (back). Fewer bobbins are used at on time on the fronts and sleeves.(1 package of 10 should cost around 5 dollars)
