The Paradise Bay Shawl uses simple lace and slipped stitches to create a graphic wavy look, which calls to mind an exotic bay in tropical waters, with turquoise waves slowly rolling to a beach. Cover your sun kissed shoulders with this shawlette knit in silk. Or use merino and make a shawl for colder weather, to remind you of those wonderful summer nights.

The shawl is worked top down, starting from the small centre tab, increasing rapidly on each row. The lace pattern is written out and charted. Choose fingering-weight yarn in a natural fibre – wool, silk, linen or cotton – for crisp blocking and best results.

The pattern is fully charted and written out.
