Depending on the thickness of your yarn, your rug can be any size from 80 cm to 100 cm in diameter.

If rugs are not your thing, try the pattern with a bulky (10 ply) yarn for a cushion cover. A friend made her cushion cover with Bernat Maker Fashion.

Also depending on the thickness and elasticity of your yarn, you will need anything between 2 kg to 4 kg of t-shirt yarn, and/or a crochet hook from 12 mm to 18 mm.

Working into the back loops gives your rug extra texture and softness.
