This design used Color Loops to create 2 vertical bars that run down the length of the leg. Yarn choices may include solid on same solid, contrasting yarn on main color yarn (of any color scheme), or what is shown: a variegated yarn with same yarn for the Color Loops, creating a contrast with itself. There is a nice raised texture to the vertical lines, as well.
