This small yet striking mini shawl features an all-over mock rib pattern, with slip stitches creating a sense of movement through travelling cable-like lines. Inspired by architectural forms, the design echoes everything from modern zigzag facades to the linear flow of exposed pipework.

CONSTRUCTION
This shawl is worked from point-to-point lengthwise by increasing at the right hand edge initially, working an elongated section straight in the centre, then decreasing at the right hand edge. The pattern alternates between sections worked straight and sections with increases / decreases on every RS row, to create a feeling of ebb and flow.
