These socks are inspired by the beautiful Paria Canyons in Arizona and Utah. They feature mirroring cables and a textured panel down the center. These socks are worked cuff down, with a heel flap & gusset and finished off with a kitchener stitch at the toe.

S(M,L) 8.5”(9.5”, 10”) circumference. When measuring foot, make sure to measure at the widest part of your foot to ensure proper fit!

Suggested Yarn:

250 - 280 yards of fingering weight yarn.

Suggested Needles:

US 1.5 (2.5mm) 9” circulars, 32” (for magic loop method) or US 1.5 (2.5mm) DPNs for small circumference knitting.

Notions:

2 stitch markers, weaving needle, scissors, cable needle (optional).

Techniques featured:

knit stitches, purl stitches, cables, slipped stitches, left and right decrease stitches, heel flap, gusset, kitchener stitch for toe, cuff down sock knitting, picking up stitches for the gusset.
