Paris starts with a provisional cast on, and is grafted together at the end with Kitchener Stitch. If you prefer, you can use a long tail cast on and seam both ends together to form a cowl. But she is just as lovely left loose and worn as a shawl if you prefer.

The sample uses 4 skeins of yarn, for a roomy loop and a snug and cosy fit when worn double. Paris can be shortened or lengthened to whatever size you choose, using the yarn amount you have available.
Slipped stitches at the beginning, end, and in the middle of every RS row provide a nice framework and clean edges to the garter stitch texture.

Pattern includes row by row instruction, an abbreviation dictionary and helpful tips and tricks.
