This beret is worked top-down in the round.
We start the project from the top using a double pointed needles set and we switch to the circular needle when it’s possible.
We continue with a serie of increases until we reach the maximum desired diameter (about 28-30 cm); then we work a serie of decreases.

At the end we work a ribbed brim and we finish the project with a tubular bind off to have an elastic and soft final edge.

The pattern includes a diagram and also written instructions.
The requested yarn for this pattern is a worsted weight yarn.
I use less than 50 gr. to finish the project.

Questo basco è realizzato con la tecnica top- down cioè dall’alto al basso.
Si comincia il lavoro dalla sommità del cappello con un gioco di ferri a doppia punta 7 mm e poi si passa all’utilizzo dei ferri circolari quando il lavoro è abbastanza ampio da permetterlo.
Si comincia dal centro e si lavorano una serie di aumenti; arrivati alla massima ampiezza desiderata (circa 28-30 cm di diametro) si lavorano una serie di diminuzioni. Infine si lavora un bordo a coste e si chiude con la chiusura tubolare che garantisce elasticità e morbidezza all’estremità inferiore.

Il modello include sia un diagramma sia istruzioni scritte.
Il filato richiesto è di uno spessore worsted cioè circa 90 metri per 50 grammi.
Io ho finito il progetto con meno di 50 grammi di filato.
