Parity: “a set with the property of having all of its elements belonging to one of two disjoint subsets, especially a set of integers split in subsets of even and odd elements” (Wiktionary)

Parity is a V shaped wrap which shares parity among its elements: an odd number of colors are knit in stripes which contain odd numbers of rows. The wrap is knit in garter stitch from one end to the other on the bias. The carried yarn is hidden at the edges, and the next color is always hanging right where you need it. Sample required about 1.5 hanks of each of 3 colors.
