This simple yet cute vest is worked from bottom up, then split at armhole for the front and back piece to be worked in flat. The one-row color stripes paired with broken seed stitch pattern creates the effect of intricate colorwork and texture, whereas in fact it is very easy to do as you always only work with one color in each row.

Pick 2 solid colors to maximize the contrasting effect, or 1 solid color with 1 variegated yarn to create an almost ombre look, the possibility is endless. And the classic fit of this vest makes it ideal to work with any look.
