Parquette
Parquette is based on two contrasting yarns in fingering weight. You can use two solids or semi solids, one solid or semi solid combined with a color gradient or two color gradients. I used the new Zauberball Crazy color Blaue Lagune in combination with an XL Klecks Mendocino. Albeit designed for fingering weight you can choose any weight you want, the width will be different though.
The general structure of the Parquette scarf is modular. No seaming is involved since you will join the modules as you go. You will find photo tutorials on how to join them at the end of the pattern along with other photo tutorials on the various techniques required to knit the Parquette scarf.
All instructions for all modules are presented in written and charted form. You will also find graphics to guide you through the knitting process.
This pattern offers English instructions only!!! If you prefer a German version you will find the instructions in the new issue #8 of Knit the Cat – We Are Color by Schoppel.
Der Download umfasst einzig die englische Anleitung. Die deutsche Version ist in der “Knit the Cat 08 -We are Color” von Schoppel abgedruckt.
Happy knitting!
