The awesome man’s guernsey PARRINELLO is in a relaxed fit in a plain knitting decorated with a square in stocking st in reverse front and back - a simple design - casual and classic. The wool used is a chunky weight 100 % merino wool making a heavy weight garment.
The sleeves can be worked from shoulder downwards. Or from cuff and upwards - both are well explained in the pattern.
Knowledge required is just how to knit and purl. The guernsey is not difficult to make for yourself – this work of knitting is interesting and quite fast. The model is worked flat.

Needles: no 7½ mm and 7 mm.
Tension/gauge in stocking sts: 12½ sts and 18 rows on needles no 7½ mm = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in).
Patterns: stocking st and stocking st in reverse.
