Parsed Tank provides a unique canvas to showcase your creativity. This modern tank top is worked from the top down in four panels, allowing you to play with color - or keep it all solid! Choose a V, Scoop, or Square neckline for each of your panel sets - selecting different options creates fun reversibility. Work an easy straight body, or follow the detailed modification instructions to create a fitted or A-line shape. You can even adjust the neckline depth to your preference!

Garment Construction: This top is worked from the top down in four pieces. The straps start with gentle short row shaping at the shoulders, and then you’ll shape the neckline and armhole at opposite edges of your work. An integrated i-cord trim is worked along both the armhole and neckline to add stability when wearing. When you reach the bottom of the armhole, you’ll cast on additional stitches for the body. A small section of lateral braid connects the slipped stitch details to create a continuous look. The remainder of the body is worked even to the hem. Once all four pieces are complete, join them together by picking up stitches along the edge and working a 3-needle bind off.

Video tutorials included for special techniques - purled lifted increases, integrated i-cord cast on, and lateral braids. Familiarity with at-the-same-time shaping is recommended, but your pattern purchase also includes a supplement PDF with shaping tables! This row by row checklist will help you see how everything fits together and track your progress through the upper body - and a digital version is available on Google Sheets.
