Open and lacy Parsley Field shawl is a triangular shawl worked in crochet motifs, which are joined as you go.

The pattern is written for three sizes, Small (Medium, Large), which use 2 (3, 4) skeins of yarn. The schematic below shows the dimensions for each size.

The size of the shawl can be adjusted to fit individual preferences by adding extra or crocheting fewer motif rows.

MATERIALS

  • Yarn: Malabrigo Silkpaca; lace weight; 420 yd (384 m) per 50 g skein; 70% baby alpaca, 30% silk
  • Hook: U.S. B (2.25 mm)
  • Yarn needle to weave in ends

YARDAGE

  • 2 (3, 4) skeins in shade 4 Sapphire Green

GAUGE

  • One square motif = 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

  • Small (Medium, Large)
  • Wingspan: 50½ (61¾, 73¼)″ / 128 (157, 186) cm
