This cowl was knit for the Partridgeberry, or Lingonberry, that grows on the barrens in the late fall.

Cowl is knit in the round as a tube, then given a half twist before grafting the ends together with Kitchener stitch to make one continuous loop. This is a one-size pattern.

needles: US 2 / 2.75 mm

yarn: fingering
sample is knit in Tukuwool ruura (mc) and valo (cc)

yardage:
mc: 275 m / 300 y
cc: 200 m / 219y

gauge: 22 sts in 4” / 10cm
