This is a pattern for the delightful Pascal, the giant Parisian Pigeon.

He is 48cms long, from tail to beak, and dons a fetching beret.

Pascal is knitted in garter stitch (beret in stockinette stitch), and uses the intarsia technique for the mid-row colour change. The pattern is colour coded for ease.

Pascal’s legs use the i-cord technique, using two 6.5mm dpns.

This is a great project, and Pascal is certainly a handsome pigeon, when he’s all stuffed and ready to fly.

Using DROPS Eskimo yarn in the following colours:

100g med grey
100g light grey
50g dark grey
50g in petrol
50g in pink/brown print
Oddments in black

This is a fun pattern to do, and is at an intermediate level because of the intarsia.
