Pastel Patch Bodysuit and Hat
Bodysuit and Hat to fit 38-46 cms/15-18 inch doll

The Pastel Patch Bodysuit and Hat is suitable for dolls 15–18 inches (38–46 cm) and knitted using double knitting (DK) wool. The bodysuit features a pattern of tiny cubes and soft pastel stripes and is finished with rib edgings and a four button back opening. The matching hat echoes the pattern and is topped with a pompom.
Design: The Bodysuit is knitted as one piece to the yoke where the sleeves are joined in. Stitches are picked up to complete the buttonbands at the back.
Sizes:
One size to fit doll: 38-46 cms or 15-18 inches.
Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply). You will need 1 x 50 gram ball of Main Shade and 1 x 50 gram ball of Contrast.
Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions provided.
Tension:
22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
Other requirements:
4 buttons to fasten the Bodysuit
Stitch holders and stitch markers
