Pastiche pocket shawl
I have been working on my yarn stash lately and trying to come up with new ideas using yarn I have on hand. And since the pocket Shawl has been so popular, I thought it was a good time to try that as well.
finished height/length 72” or 6’ tall
can fit plus size at 5’3” to 5’5”
shawl width approx 23”
I wanted the blocks of color but did not plan ahead of time how it would lay on either side of the body, so once I thought of that I was at least halfway through the length and so mine ended up a little bit too long! It does fit perfectly a plus size who is 5’3.
To adjust for size, measure fingertip to fingertip, or in a pinch, use your height. Add enough for two pockets to the length, which will be folded up and crocheted together. (For example? If you are 5’3”, Plus 6 to 8 in for each pocket, so 75” or 79”.) You may make the scarf, or continue to make shawl.
