Pasture Socks
The Pasture Socks are knitted top-down in the round. You start by knitting the cuff and end with the toe. The leg and upper foot feature a charted cable pattern that tapers toward the middle of the foot. You don’t need a cable needle to knit the cables, the technique is explained in the pattern. The socks also feature a heel flap and gusset but you can substitute your favorite heel construction.
The pattern and the charts are written for two different sizes: 1 and (2).
Note: Due to the combination of slipped stitches and cables, the knitted fabric is quite tight. If you usually knit socks with 56 sts with this yarn weight, size 1 should fit, even though it is knitted with 64 sts.
Recommended Yarn
80 (100) g Drops Nord in the color light peach (uni colour 27).
Please note that you might need more yarn if you want to knit the leg or the foot longer than intended in the pattern.
