Ever wonder what to do with those leftover knitted swatches or tiny balls of leftover yarn? Time to dig through your stash and make the Patch Me If You Can table runner ~ the newest Swatch & Found design!

This pattern includes instructions on how to make a table runner using a combination of fabric and knitted swatches. The knitted swatches may be knit specifically for this project (instructions are included on how to make the swatches shown), repurposed from unused swatches, or cut from an old sweater.

This pattern is BEGINNER friendly for both KNITTERS and SEWISTS. It includes clear instructions, pictures, a schematic, and lots of helpful tips.

Materials
(9) small strips of quilting cotton or linen fabric in varying prints (exact measurements provided in pattern) for top layer
(1) half yard of quilting cotton fabric for backing
(4) small knitted swatches made with natural fibers OR (1) 4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm) lace swatch, (1) 3 x 5.5” (7.5 x 14 cm) stockinette stitch swatch, (1) 4.5 x 4.5” (11.5 x 11.5 cm) reverse stockinette stitch swatch, and (1) 3.5 x 5.5” (9 x 14 cm) broken rib stitch swatch
(1) 36.5 x 13.5” (92.5 x 34.5 cm) piece of lightweight batting
