Size:
37-38 (39-40) 41-42

Size depends on gauge. Gauge used to make these instructions is 10x10cm = 32 sts, 35 rows. If your gauge differs remarkably, consider using different needle size or modify the model.
The circumference of leg is approximately 20-21 (23-24) 25-26 cm and circumference of foot 17-18 (20-21) 22-23 cm.
Length of the leg is about 20 cm.

Yarn:
Ficolina Arwetta Classic:
MC 60g 975 Dark Chocolate
CC 30g 200 Daffodil
Or other yarn the same thickness (210 m/ 50 g).

Needles:
2,5mm – 3,0mm or size required to get gauge right

You also need:
Blunt sewing needle
Stitch markers

Other notes:
The socks are worked from the cuff to toe, the beginning of the round is behind the leg and on the sole.
The instructions are made for knitting with 4 double pointed needles, but you may use magic loop technique (or any other) if you prefer that.

Koko:
37-38 (39-40) 41-42

Varren pituus on noin 20 cm.

Lanka:
Ficolina Arwetta Classic:
Pääväri 60g 975 Dark Chocolate
Kontrastiväri 30g 200 Daffodil
Tai muu saman paksuinen lanka (210 m/ 50 g).

Puikot:
Sukkapuikot 2,5 mm – 3,0 mm, tai muu koko oikean neuletiheyden saamiseksi

Tarvitset myös:
Parsinneula
Silmukkamerkkejä

Muuta:
Sukat neulotaan varresta varpaisiin, kerroksen vaihtumiskohta on takana ja pohjassa.
Ohjeet on tehty 4 sukkapuikolla neulomiseen, mutta voit halutessasi käyttää muutakin tekniikkaa.

Hope You enjoy knitting my design!

Story behind this design has many stages. First inspiration came from African art, then I took couple steps towards Moroccan tiles. There are still some pieces left from these first phases, even if not so visible ones.

After couple sketches the pattern started to get its final form. But… I was still knitting ‘tilework’. When I finished knitting the leg, I started to see, that it was patchwork, not tiles!

Although they got their theme at such a late stage, I think they bear their theme well.

I wish you variable (in a good way) and sweet knitting
moments!

-Niina
