Patchwork Baby Blanket
Turn yarn leftovers into something beautiful with this stash-busting granny square baby blanket pattern. Classic granny-style squares are joined with crisp white seams to create a balanced, modern patchwork design. I arranged the sample so no two squares of the same colour touch, giving a random yet cohesive finish.
The finished sample measures approximately 65cm square (Moses basket / car seat size) and uses 49 squares. The modular design means you can easily adjust the size by adding or removing squares.

YARN
The sample blanket was created using Stylecraft Special DK from mixed stash yarns, but the design works beautifully with any double knit yarn. It’s the perfect project for using up those leftover bits that are too good to throw away but too small for a full project.
The more colours you have, the more unique your blanket becomes — making every version truly one of a kind.
