This is a sock pattern that utilizes colorwork, ribbing, and reverse stockinette to create a basket weave effect. The pattern is worked from the top down with a heel flap and gusset, and a wedge toe.

Sizes
Sizing is determined by the width around the ball of the foot.

S (7”/17.25 cm) M (8”/20.25) L (9”/22.75)

The finished sizes reflect the numbers in parenthesis.

Gauge
9 sts x 11 rows over 1 inch using US 1.5 (2.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Measured over ribbing in the round after blocking.

Gauge is measured over ribbing so achieving the exact size is not necessary. As long as you are in the within 1 -3 sts it should still fit.

Needles
US 1.5 (2.25 mm) - 9 inch circular and 32 inch circular

Yarn
100 g of fingering weight for MC
10 g of fingering weight for CCA
5 g of fingering weight for CCB

Sample shown in:

CCB - Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply Toes- 133 yds / 38 g
(100% SW merino)

Notes
This pattern is written with a 9-inch circular needle in mind. Any kind of sock knitting method can be used though. Magic loop did not work well for the colorwork for some testers.

If your colorwork is generally tight, going up a needle size and being mindful of floats is suggested.
