Patchwork Pines Square
-
Written in US terms.
-
Squares are worked back in forth in rows THEN worked in rounds to complete the border.
-
These squares are great stash busters.
-
Using 3 weight/DK or Sport weight and a size H hook, each square uses approx. 30 - 32 yards of yarn.
-
Yarn used for squares pictured: Caron Cotton Ripple Cakes in Meadow. (3 weight) Hook size: H.
-
(Any weight yarn along with a suitably sized hook can be used. Square size will of course be determined by yarn weight/hook size/tension.)
-
When using Caron Cotton Ripple Cakes and a size H hook, squares measure approx. 6” × 6”.
-
Stitch count of squares = 21 stitches per side.
